Breads and Spreads

Pita Snax: A little pita goes a long way as a chip. These sugar-free chip-like puffs are flavorful and low in fat. One serving is 34 snax—much more satisfying a portion than those ten or so regular potato chips in a serving. By the way, these puffs are the perfect size for dipping into either of the spreads listed below. For more information, please contact Pita Products, 30777 Northwestern Highway, Suite 3200, Farmington Hills, MI 48334, or call (800) 600-PITA. You can also learn more about these products at pitasnax.com.

Frummus: Fruit hummus. Why didn’t anyone think of it sooner? A wonderful alternative to boring old pb&j, Frummus, or fruit-sweetened hummus, can be eaten as a sandwich filling, a dip, spread for a bagel or toast, or in place of hummus in your favorite recipes.

For more information about Frummus, please contact Mediterranean Delights at PO Box 749, Saxtons River, VT 05154, or call (800) 347-5850. You may also e-mail [email protected].
